We received a first class welcome on our tour with great hospitality including an authentically prepared Paella in a super location. We felt very safe in terms of safety provisions laid on by our hosts with full medical support laid on in case of accidents. We stayed quite close by in Estepona in a fully equipped Hotel and our group of 20 teenagers entertained themselves with a full array of activities. I would have no hesitation recommending this to any Rugby Club thinking of taking a touring party to Club del Estrecho.

Our tour in February 2020 was absolutely amazing. We took a large group to the region and Guy looked after us brilliantly from the moment we landed. Every aspect of the tour was excellently organised and communicated to us. Guy had sorted out every detail for us which made the trip so much more enjoyable for everyone and stress free for me :-) The hotel we stayed in was great, the hospitality shown by the opposing teams was lovely and every single member of the Tour had a great time. I could not recommend these guys highly enough.

Touring Andalusia in 2017 with Rugbytourspain, Stoke-on-Trent RUFC U14s enjoyed two fantastic playing opportunities. The match against a Gibraltar Select XV was played at the Victoria Stadium. Located impressively next to the airport and in the shadow of the Rock, the stadium is often seen on TV as it hosts international football, athletics and rugby. Hospitality followed at a clubhouse on the rock with all players enjoying the setting and experience of performing at an international ground. The second and third matches took place at Holmes Sotogrande Rugby del Estrecho. Here the team got to play in a three-way tournament against the hosts from Estrecho, and a Marbella Select XV. All of the matches were evenly-contested and well-officiated, allowing for all of the touring squad to enjoy plenty of tough, exciting rugby. The generous hosts provided excellent hospitality at their purpose-built ground, giving the team a memorable send-off to the short tour of the region. The quality of rugby, level of sportsmanship, warmth of the hospitality and support from Rugytourspain made for a memorable first touring experience for all the team.

We toured with Rugby Tour Spain in 2019 as a youth rugby team. Everything we requested was accommodated by Adrian, especially the quality of the opposition he put together for us. Nothing was too much trouble, and the boys, coaching team and parents had an experience that they’ll never forget. I would recommend using these guys to anyone wanting an awesome tour in a great part of the world!

Having been a Head of PE and Director of Sport at several schools over the years, as well as a senior club coach, Rugbytourspain remains my 'go to' provider. The quality of experience and attention to detail is second to none, as is the level of care and the importance they give to the safety and well-being of the players. I have experienced a number of tours with 'bigger' names in the field of rugby tours, but none come close to Rugbytourspain.

Given our location and climate the area has a great variety of activities to enjoy. After sending groups and teams to many of them we now have a good understanding of what works best.

Aventura Amazonia

The Spanish version of “Go Ape” is based in Marbella and is a hugely popular option for groups. The park features different levels of difficulty and activities and is suitable for all ages. The Amazonia team are multilingual, and each session begins with a comprehensive safety briefing. If you are up for it the park will not disappoint and the combination of climbing, zip line, Tarzan slide and the famous monkey jump get the adrenaline pumping.

The park is open year-round, and the circuit takes three hours and cost is 22 euros per person.

On the way to or from Amazonia we are sure you will enjoy a stop at the world-famous Puerto Banus to check out the yachts, supercars and the millionaire lifestyle.

Cable Car Gibraltar

The best way to see Gibraltar and North Africa is by taking the cable car to the top of the Rock. The nature reserve is also home to the famous Barbary apes. The views are truly spectacular, and the cable car ride is worth the visit. You can then stroll back through Main Street and soak up the unique atmosphere and history of Gibraltar.

The trip is by bus from the border to the cable car station and then walking back though town. The cost is 24 euros per person.

We can also recommend ten pin bowling at the nearby commercial centre and from May to September there are several aqua parks that offer a great day out.

Paddle Boarding in Gibraltar

Gibraltar is a great place to paddle board. The base at the beautiful Sandy Bay has great views out to the Mediterranean Sea and the strait and back to the amazing Rock. Activities are supervised by instructors and you can enjoy single boards or, for the more adventurous, 8-person giant paddle boards. The bay is sheltered with calm waters and has the Kokonut beach bar to chill out in after paddling.

Centro Náutico de Sotogrande Watersports

Centro Náutico de Sotogrande Watersports, located close to the mouth of the River Guadiaro near the port of Sotogrande, provides sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and paddle boarding equipment and instruction.

Bahía Aqua Park

Located 20 minutes from our accommodation options, Bahía Park is a great summer day out. The park has and area of 45,000 square metres with 3,000 meters of water. Attractions include Gran Niagara, Snake Hole, Water Race, Kamikaze, Wild River, Zig-Zag and many more. In addition, you cab navigate the white waters of the Jurassic River surrounded by dinosaurs!

The park is fully supervised by lifeguards and has plenty of food and drink outlets. Bahía Park is also home to Andalucía’s biggest jacuzzi. It is definitely worth a visit.

The park is open from June to October and cost per person is 24 euros.

SotoPaintball Sotogrande

SotoPaintball, located near the port of Sotogrande, is a paintball field offering three arenas for games of capture the flag, fortress, jungle and speedball. Markers, paintballs, paint grenades and all protective gear are supplied to all participants and referees oversee each match ensuring everyone has a safe fun filled day.

Bowling Bahía

Based in a small commercial centre the team at Bowling Bahia have 10 lanes for bowling, a laser quest arena, and a climbing wall. The centre has plenty of food and bar options from pizza to Burger King and our favourite, 100 Monteditos! Bowling costs 6€ per person.
